White people say “social justice bloggers” because they don’t know how to handle the truth

they can’t handle someone calling out their racism, they can’t handle someone saying that they’re privileged and everything they have isn’t just due to blood, sweat, and tears, it’s also because they’re white as rice. They can’t handle the basic definition of racism and people telling them that you can’t possibly be racist against white people when the system is set up for white people to succeed and minorities to fail.

They can’t handle people telling them they can’t wear cheap ass american eagle urban outfitters headdress is appropriative and no they can’t wear dreads. They can’t handle people telling them that they can’t use certain words and they sure as hell can’t help black people reclaim the n word. They can’t handle someone telling them no when they’re so used to being raised in a culture that’s set up to give them everything.

They don’t know how to handle the truth so they try to write it off. You know what white people? You can try, but I’ll continue to call you out on your shit and not give a fuck.

No OP. People say “Social Justice Bloggers” because all you do is sit on the computer and blog about racism and pretend to make a difference.

What you’re doing is just sitting around posting pictures of celebrities, Anime or whatever form of entertainment or fandoms.

You want racism to stop? You want sexism to stop? You have to make them stop. Not play this stupid “I’m right you’re, wrong game” that any two year old can do.

Wow I absolutely love that you know my life so well. I’m waiting for you to tell me where I live, work, and what I ate for breakfast this morning since you seem to know what I do outside of Tumblr.

And where did I ever say that my simple blog makes a difference? Where did I ever say this was about anything more than me blogging about what affects my life on a day to day basis? Please link me oh wise one who knows me better than I know myself.

Or better yet, fuck off.

No. This isn’t about what you do in your daily life but rather you’re willing to admit that you’re just a fucking wannabe activist.

You are in absolutely NO POSITION to tell anyone to “fuck off.” You don’t get to decide who responds to you on a public blogging website where ANYONE can read what you write.

Stop trying to “logic” your way out of everything and just admit that you’re a wannabe activist and I mean those TWO exact words: wannabe activist. Because that’s what you are and I call things for what they are.

LOL so you still believe you know me better than I know myself, and now you want to extend that to thinking you know why I created this blog. That’s very interesting. Since you know, I never claimed to be an activist and would never say I am. But go ahead, tell me more about who I am and what I’m trying to be.

I’m totally loving this. My “logic” is based on the truth and yours is based on false claims with no evidence, but you keep going.

Your stupid Disney reaction gif makes your argument less valid. Also, I call bullshit on the “never claimed to be an activist” nonsense. You’re neither an actual activist nor a “non-activist.” You’re a fake. Just give up, because you have no idea what you’re doing or even saying.

LOL how am I a fake when I was never an activist in the first place? I mean if you call bullshit then prove it. I’ll wait. Everything you said has been off and wrong, but you know, keep trying if you want to.

your comment on the gif is so dumb, I’m gonna repost it while I laugh my fucking ass off. I didn’t know gifs have so much power.

License to Pimp (Documentary) - Kickstarter

strugglingtobeheard:

License to Pimp is a feature documentary about the choices that three San Francisco strippers make as their workplaces engage in illegal labor practices.  Strip clubs refuse to pay strippers even minimum wages & actually charge them for the privilege to work.  I worked in half of San Francisco’s strip clubs during the 1990s and witnessed their transformation into brothels as a result of these fees.  Now as a filmmaker, I uncover current working conditions & try to find out how strip clubs are able to operate outside the law.

Each woman makes distinctly different decisions yet our collective journeys are woven into one story of strippers negotiating our labor rights within the sex industry.

Whether you’re for or against sex work, this sounds like a worthwhile project. Currently, the documentary still needs around $25,000 to be made.

This project has less than a few days to go and isn’t yet fully-funded, so I thought I’d reblog it.

imma signal boost this. i can’t believe a $200 fee to work at a club, never in my life did i think that was happening places. i’ve seen what happens when the money aint enough and stripping becomes more than stripping. we need more film about these types of things.

Anonymous asked: I don't think you or anyone should ignore someone's hard work, and claiming it must have been easy for them if their skin is white. Granted, white privilege DOES exist, I'm not ignorant enough to say it does not, however, there are hard working whites out there as well who are judged by the upper-class, for being a woman, etc. Same goes for other races, claiming one group of peoples have it easier is simply put, false, and probably a bit silly.

Where did I ever say anything about ignoring someone’s hard work? You need to reread my post, I said it’s not just due to hard work, it’s also because of white privilege. And white women still do benefit from white privilege, them being women doesn’t negate their whiteness.

Clearly you had a case of reading comprehension fail.

wr-th-deactivated20120924 asked: What's interesting about cancervantes is that they think that SJB is some actual community instead of a slur, and wants to argue against all Black bloggers being violent, yet can't come up with a single one that condones violence or has threatened non-POC at all...

Girl yes! Of course they can’t, because no one advocates violences or harassment or whatever other bullshit they were saying. I’m still waiting for them to link me to where I ever said people should harass someone on here.
